GMEM / Latitudes Contemporaines (May June 2026)
When Adjusted To Darkness is a sound based hybrid performance in collaboration with performer and director Racha Baroud, expressing through body, music composition, and voice what words can no longer convey. The performance is conceived as a pause, a sigh at the heart of the relentless march of our region’s history. It is a suspended interstice between the collapse of our inner worlds and the necessity to continue building.
We are in residency at the GMEM in Marseille from the 26th till the 31st of May to finalise the work and present it on the 19th of June 2026 in the framework of the Latitudes Contemporaines Festival in Lille.

Autonomics – research residency at the Camargo Foundation from the 24th of February till the 5th of May 2026
Autonomics is a project that researches the design and performance of electroacoustic automated instruments as a compositional practice. Within this practice, I explore the subtle organicity of the mechanical, as well as the infinite range of nuances contained within a limited set of sound materials.
The automata I design are rudimentary-looking instrument-machines with high-fidelity digital functionalities. Their software controlled sonic output is captured through various types of microphones and digitally processed.
The resulting musical universe can be described as liminal and immersive, evoquing uncanny landscapes. Autonomics strives to create environments for deep listening, where silence, space, and time emerge within and through the music. It invites both focused, active attention through the music’s detailed contours and a more open, soothing immersion that allows for the listener’s subjective projection.
The three instruments are developed collaboratively with hardware and software engineer Mr Stock, and function in automated sound installations and live performance setups.
